Rio is a lovely horse with the potential to be a great mother-daughter share or a horse to slowly develop and improve with. He is very forgiving to ride, suitable for a complete novice, yet capable of stepping up when ridden by someone with more experience. He has a sensible and honest jump and is confident upto 90cm currently with scope to do alot more, he is sane and easy to hack and does a nice dressage test. Rio is straightforward to ride, while still having a little extra energy when asked to step up.
Having been part of the riding school for a year, we're in no rush to sell him, but he is tentatively up for sale as we have other horses looking to join us. We are familiar with his previous owners, where he participated in Pony Club, show jumping, local shows, and hacking.
Managed at our BHS 5* Licensed Centre during his time here, Rio will leave with all necessary updates, including a fitted and checked saddle. We believe Rio would make someone a fantastic lifelong horse with his versatile abilities. He is a very good-looking horse and would do well in working hunter classes.
